Please note: we require a $500 deposit to complete your enrollment and guarantee a spot in a program. Deposit due date March 15th. 2013 is expected to be at capacity level for students. The first 25 applicants to send in their deposits will reserve their spot (horse, equipment, etc), all others will be on a waiting list. Custer's Last Ride/Little Bighorn Encampment - is for riders of all levels of ability. Beginning riders welcome. Those wishing to fully participate in the riding portion of the training should be able to mount and dismount with little (i.e. horse holder, regular mounting block) or no assistance. Most riding adventures have limit of 250 lbs. for riding horses; we have a limited number of mounts for riders above that amount. Call for specifics and questions.
Advanced Cavalry Encampment
This encampment is for seasoned riders with previous cavalry re-enactment experience.

Deluxe Little Bighorn Cavalry Encampment and Battle Reenactment 15-23 June 2013 (8+ days of
training, riding, and fun): Packages start at $1875 (Cost is dependent on Location and dates). for our Novice, Intermediate or Advanced Classes. A deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot in the course, deposit are to be in by March 15th. First 25 deposit received reserve their spot, all others will be on a waiting list. Payments/Deposits are refundable before May 1st, after May 1st there is a $195 fee for cancellation by you of your reserved seat (refundable only in extenuating circumstances; i.e. medical emergency).
Bring your own Horse (hay is available for purchase) and equipment or rent ours for the course: Horses - $350, McClellan Saddle Set - $150, Cavalry Uniform* - $100, and Firearm 45lc pistol - $75 or Cap n Ball pistol- $45. *Students are in training to be Cavalry Trooper of the 1870s, uniforms provided will be in the rank of Trooper (private). Students providing their own uniforms should attend course as Troopers/privates (special circumstances may apply, call for questions).
